Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

H&H Menifee Concrete Works, menifeeconcreteworks.com, team@menifeeconcreteworks.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the H&H Menifee Concrete Works website and any concrete work we do for you. By using this site, asking us for a quote or approving an estimate, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Your written estimate or contract for a specific job can add details to these terms. Where the two differ, the signed estimate or contract for that job controls.

What we do

H&H Menifee Concrete Works is a concrete contractor based in Menifee, CA. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls. We also do stamped and decorative concrete, concrete cutting and foundation raising. You can find each service from our home page and read more about who we are on our About page.

What you read on this site is general. It describes the kind of work we do, not the plan for your job, because we only settle that after we've seen your property.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, with no pressure and no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see that day. That includes the size of the area, how much old concrete has to come out, the condition of the subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, how easily trucks can reach the work and the finish you pick.

Some things only show up once the old concrete is out, like soft or wet soil, roots, buried debris or a second layer of old slab. If that happens, we stop, show you what we found and give you the change in writing before we do any extra work at extra cost.

An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, material and delivery costs may have moved, so we may need to update the price before we schedule the job. Prices mentioned over the phone or in passing are rough ideas, not quotes.

Your part before we start

You're responsible for knowing where your property lines are and for getting any approval your homeowners association requires. If you aren't sure where a line runs, tell us before we start, because we build where you show us.

Public utilities are marked before we dig, but private lines such as sprinklers, landscape lighting, gas lines to a grill or septic lines usually aren't. Please tell us where they are. We aren't responsible for damage to private lines we weren't told about.

On the work days, please keep cars, pets and kids clear of the work area and leave a path for the concrete truck and our crew.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We schedule pours around the weather, because concrete poured in rain or in the worst of the heat can end up with a weak, dusty top. That means a date can move. When it does, we'll tell you as soon as we know and give you the next date we can do it right.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (951) 574-0417 as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials or booked a concrete delivery, you may owe the costs we can't get back, as written on your estimate.

Payment

Your estimate or contract spells out what you pay and when, including any deposit. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a balance goes unpaid, we may charge reasonable collection costs where California law allows. California law also gives contractors and suppliers who aren't paid the right to place a lien on the property where the work was done, and you'll get any notices the law requires.

Caring for new concrete

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens and gains strength. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on and when it's safe to drive on, and those times depend on the weather and the job.

We aren't responsible for marks, footprints, tire prints or cracks caused by using the concrete before we say it's ready, or by loads heavier than it was built for, like moving trucks, dumpsters or heavy equipment.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We stand behind our work, and satisfaction is guaranteed on every job. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it. Any written warranty for your job is on your estimate or contract.

Concrete can crack, even when it's built right. We cut control joints, which are planned lines in the slab, so that when it does crack, it usually cracks there in a straight line instead of across the middle. Hairline cracks, small shade differences between pours and minor surface marks are normal for concrete and aren't defects.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from soil movement, tree roots, drainage changes made after we leave, overloading, chemicals, pool salt or harsh cleaners, or work done by anyone else on the concrete we placed.

The information on this website is given as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current, and it isn't a substitute for an estimate for your property.

Limits on our liability

As far as California law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost use of your driveway, lost income or rental costs, that come from a delay or a problem with the work.

We're fully licensed and insured. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

Call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're standing at the slab together, so give us a fair chance to look at it and make it right.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us can take the matter to the courts in Riverside County, California, including small claims court where the amount allows.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. A change doesn't affect a job you've already signed for, because that job follows the terms in place when you approved it.
